Pebbling Creative Writing Prompts: April 2012

Pebbling - How To

Have paper, pen and timer handy
A spiral bound notebook works well
A comfortable working pen (no pencil)
Read the Pebbling Prompt. Take any action included in the prompt
Set the timer for 3 to 5 minutes
Begin writing using the words included in the prompt
Stop writing when the timer goes off.

Please do not concern yourself about spelling or penmanship, although it will be good for you to be able to read and transcribe it onto the group discussion page :) :) :) The most important thing is to write what you think of, even if it doesn't make sense to you as you write. If you get stuck keep writing - write the last word you wrote over and over until your ideas start coming again. This is neat as when you read when finished and leave out the "extra words" the story often flows nicely. :)
